Clarity
We explain every product in simple language. If you don't know what a saddle is, we'll tell you without making you feel small.
About us
We were born at a music stand, not in a warehouse.
A la Corda Música exists because we grew tired of seeing students, parents and teachers getting lost among endless catalogues and technical jargon. Buying a set of strings shouldn't be daunting.
Our mission is simple: that every person who plays — or wants to start playing — a string instrument finds exactly what they need, understanding why they need it.
Our vision is just as simple: to be the place a conservatoire, a school or a family turns to with confidence, knowing that here we listen first and recommend afterwards.
What moves us
Judgement
We don't sell everything that exists: we choose what we'd use ourselves. Every reference in the catalogue has a reason to be there.
Patience
Choosing well takes time. We'd rather you take a week to decide than buy something today that you don't need.
Rigour
When we talk about string tensions or resins, we do it with data. Closeness is not at odds with precision.
Shall we talk about your instrument?
Tell us what you play, since when and what you're looking for. We'll reply calmly and with no obligation.
